About
Stephanie Walsh
The word "holistic" can mean many things. I believe it means being a guide on your journey to better health by understanding your life and lifestyle - from fitness, food, and stress to availability of time, support and readiness for change. I tailor our work based on your unique needs and goals and never assume one size fits all. We work together to find your obstacles while giving you the space to explore, make mistakes and learn what truly is your best path to a happier, healthier you.
Success is not just about changing your diet or starting an exercise program, it's about considering you, the real you, to achieve the results you've been searching for.
ABOUT STEPHANIE WALSH
Since I was a little girl I have been passionate about fitness and nutrition. I wanted to be the fastest runner in primary school and the best soccer player and sprinter in high school. After school and college I focused on different races such as half marathons, marathons, sprint triathlons, obstacle course races and GoRuck events (military influenced multi-hour endurance events). I love to challenge myself physically and am always working toward new goals to live my life to the fullest. Currently, I have started to learn ballet and skate skiing. Although they couldn’t be more different in intensity, I love the intricacies of technique, balance, stamina, breath and focus for each of these physical activities. It is my passion for fitness and education that allows me to continue building my knowledge of the human body and movement. Through an evidence based model approach, I can challenge myself and my training clients in a safe and effective way.
My interest in nutrition started at an early age as well. When I was young I used to bake with my grandmother. As I got older and tested recipes on my own, I became interested in how I could make meals and treats healthy and appetizing. I started collecting cookbooks and cooking magazines in high school and college, searching for tasty recipes that were either healthy or meant to be an indulgent treat for special occasions. As life got busier, I also understood all too well how cooking can take a back burner (pun intended). That is why I help my clients find recipes and clean ingredient convenient foods that will work for those short on time or limited by food sensitivities. I suffer from my own food issues and love to help people realize that living with food sensitivities doesn’t have to be a bland affair!
I absolutely love what I do and love having the opportunity to change people’s lives for the better. Because of my passion for the field of fitness and nutrition I am always in pursuit of expanding my knowledge in my field. I constantly remind myself of Albert Einstein's quote "the more I learn, the more I realize I do not know." This is why I have earned many certifications and specializations to further assist my clients with their goals. The more I understand about the human body, the more I can help each person I see.

"Stephanie is one of THE BEST listeners I think I’ve ever seen for personal nutrition and training. She guided me in more intuitive ways of eating …taught me how to relax and ENJOY food …and has made such a difference with my back issues - even more so than my physical therapist. Her attention to detail and understanding of my body and its needs makes me feel SO GOOD!" - Lish G.
